Our Anniversary

Last month on May 17th we celebrated our 5 year anniversary!  I'm super slow to post about it, I know.  We both took that Friday off to celebrate with a three day weekend together.  We stayed two nights at a hotel on the Riverwalk downtown.  It was a really nice and relaxing weekend of quality time together.  We didn't have much planned for the weekend, so we were able to just hang out together with no schedule to follow.  We enjoyed two nice dinners on Friday and Saturday and on one night we went out to a piano bar for a while.  Other than that we lounged at the hotel pool, caught up on some shows we enjoy together on Netflix, and just enjoyed the weekend.  We did think it was amusing that on our wedding night after dinner (yes, we were starving after our wedding and the first thing we did was go out to eat at Olive Garden right by our hotel) we watched a season finale of The Office that we had missed due to wedding activities earlier in the week.  This year on our 5 year anniversary we watched not just a regular season finale, but the series finale, of The Office.  

We actually didn't take as many pictures as I normally like to throughout the weekend, but here are some of the ones we did take.

We had a wonderful anniversary!! Overall our first five years have been pretty amazing; it's exciting to think about what all might come in the next five!
