Nora's Baby Shower!

A couple weeks ago (-just a note for myself: I was at 32 and 1/2 weeks) my mother-in-law, Sue, hosted a baby shower for me and Nora : )  We had a great time and really enjoyed it! Thank you to everyone who came to be a part of it, and we know a lot of people wanted to be there but were unable due to Spring Break.

Thanks to the generosity of family and friends I think we're going to be all set for Nora's arrival : )  And we're still receiving cards and gifts in the mail from people who couldn't attend!  Nora's collection area of her things keeps growing.

Everything was decorated beautifully!  We played a few fun games and enjoyed yummy food and dessert. Thank you so much to Sue for all that you did.  I really loved it and am so grateful that you put it all together for us!

And Sue took pictures (which if you know her, that's no surprise at all) of the whole event to document it for me and I'm now going to share those because we had such a fun time and I love pictures : )

Thank you to my amazing in-laws for opening up your home to host our baby shower and all that you constantly do to help and support me and Cody.  They are seriously the best in-laws a girl could have hoped for. Although it was a girls only shower so Steve was promptly kicked out right before it began.

We played a game where everyone took a turn to change the diaper on the teddy bear.  The fastest time that won was something like 27 seconds! 

We also played a game where everyone had to guess what age I was in a variety of pictures of me, ranging from infancy through present day.

Sorry to all the other adorable outfits we received at the shower, but this Aggie outfit was HANDS DOWN Cody's favorite when I showed him everything back at home.  Although that really should surprise nobody.

Owen's Aunt Kari and Uncle John wrote him a super sweet and funny letter that Cody and I especially appreciated. 

My mom gave us a beautiful box for Nora's nursery full of clothes and gifts! 

My only regret was that we didn't think to take a group picture before a lot of people had already left!
