Over the weekend I got an unexpected (but very welcomed) phone call for an interview. Right at the time I was really getting down about not being hired and accepting the fact that I would sub all year, God provided me encouragement with this possibility. It was this morning at a middle school in Northside for a 6th and 8th grade Reading position. While I am still trusting that the Lord has a plan and will provide me the right teaching position in His timing, I'm excited to say at least that it went really well this morning! I have felt like previous interviews have gone really well... with nothing coming from them. But then obviously those weren't the jobs God has prepared for me. I guess I won't know if this one is or isn't for a of couple days ... until I either do get a phone call, or accept that I won't. It did go really well and I felt like they liked me. Everyone at the school that I encountered was extremely friendly, even on such a dreary day. They said they would make a decision within a couple days, and even if this doesn't turn out to be where I end up, at least I am grateful to know that I did my best and to have gotten the opportunity to interview. That in itself was encouraging at this point. So. Thank you all for prayers and support with my seemingly-endless job search! I'll keep everyone updated with whatever develops through all of this.
